Sagi Asokan has been a FAFO Board Member for over 20 years. She is currently working at Ocala Plastic Surgery and is the College of Central Florida Foundation Board Treasurer.
Julie Shealy recently retired from the Marion County Public Schools after 32 years as a teacher, principal, and district administrator. Past member of the National Women's Leadership Council, board member and Executive Director for the Public Education Foundation and most importantly, she and her husband and have two wonderful daughters.
Prior to moving to Ocala in 2010, Jena Brooks lived in Tallahassee and was employed by the state of Florida for nearly 20 years in various capacities.
Summer Gill was born and raised in Ocala and a proud graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in psychology. Summer is the Executive Director of the Marion County Literacy Council. She serves on the board for Fine Arts for Ocala, Leadership Marion/Ocala Youth, 2035 Leadership Committee with the City of Ocala, Young Professionals Ocala, and serves on the committees for the First Friday Art Walk and the Tuscawilla Sculpture Project.
Karen McAteer Hatch is vice president of CenterState Bank. Raised in Ocklawaha, Florida, she is a fifth generation Marion County resident and lives with her two children, and husband Kenny in Ocala. She was the 2014 Rotarian of the Year Award from the Belleview Rotary Club for her community support, an active member, Past President and Past Assistant District Governor for the Belleview Rotary Club District 6970, serves on the board of Fine Arts for Ocala and is honored to be the current chair of Symphony Under the Stars. Karen is also active in the United Way of Marion County, PACE Center for Girls and the Discovery Center.
Beth Cannon grew up in Ocala taking art lessons from Shannon Roth. Once returning to the area, she spent ten years working at Shands Healthcare's Information Technology department then owned her own web design business, Stretch Web Design. She currently works with her husband at The Cannon Law Firm.
